During my time at Yoobee Colleges, I undertook a project to design a 40th-anniversary commemorative poster for Flying Nun Records. The brief was to create a product that was both affordable and visually striking. The final design is a compact, foldable accordion poster with a timeline on the back, ideal for distribution at gigs, record stores, and other retail outlets.
The poster is inspired by Flying Nun's unique, grunge style and channels elements from their earlier advertisements designed by Chris Knox, as well as album art from artists under their label.
